Pousada Castelo De Obidos

This was just a reliable pick for a holiday in Obidos with good value for cost. The dinner in the restaurant was superb, and the service was excellent. Just be careful driving up to the castle, it's steep and winding.

Greatly enjoyed distinctive and fantastic classic room in addition to tower view, wouldn't mind staying there all day. I got great breakfast with a nice assortment of foods. The staff members were very pleasant and suggested local places. The location was stunning and charming - just 5 minutes' walk from a storied castle.

Location: the hotel was very close to a castle on top of a mountain inside a lovely walled town as well as Pousada Castelo de Obidos. We had vintage, spotless room, really enjoyed the location, it was ideal to a restaurant in the evening...

Family with children loved it!

The service here? Unbelievable! They took our bags up to the rooms without us even lifting a finger. The views from the castle were just amazing.

This place wasn't exactly a bargain but honestly, worth every penny.

A suite with an absolutely stunning view of sunrise too, had requested this in advance.

The room itself was a decent size and vintage and had splendid views over the entire village of Obidos.

Staying at Pousada Castelo de Obidos was an enchanting experience. The unique historical setting and beautiful decor transported us. Although the access could be a bit challenging, every moment spent here seemed like being part of a fairy tale. I hope to return soon!

Staying inside the walls of the castle was an lovely experience. The historic charm was upgraded with the beautiful surroundings and the fine views. The ambiance was serene, perfect for our family getaway, including our son's autism support dog. Plus, breakfast was good with a great variety!

My wife says that signage for checking in could use improvement. It was confusing finding the entrance, especially with kids in tow. A clearer path to the lobby would make it much easier for families navigating the castle.

A magical castle stay!

Staying in a castle is unreal! The vibes are so medieval and cozy, just loved it. Our room was super unique, they call it 'the dungeon,' haha! Food was fancy and delicious. The waitstaff were really friendly and kept us laughing, but the wi-fi was kinda weak. A fun experience overall!

Beautiful castle, excellent service, with friendly staff ready to help with anything you might need, made our stay extra special when we enjoyed breakfast overlooking the scenic views from the restaurant.
